It’s not hard to tell that my sassy side emerged when styling this ensemble. The leopard blazer has quickly become one of my favorites for work and play, but can we talk about these heels?! I nearly died when I saw these strappy beauties at Target for under $30. I’ve seen several pairs that never seem to be within my price range, but these had exactly what I was looking for – high end look, low end price tag. Not to mention, these heels were exactly what this outfit needed to kick it up a notch 😉

Definitely channeling my inner Rachel Zoe with this look, and I’m loving it! Every girl deserves to be a diva every once in a while, right? Just add some faux fur, a black hat, and oversized shades to your wardrobe, and you’ve hit the jackpot. The best part about this look is that it has a high-end feel without the costly price tag. Several of these items came from T.J.Maxx, so the next time you are searching for a diva-esque look don’t forget to check them out!

Jacket: Old Navy, similar tweed jackets here and here, Sweater: The Limited, similar here, Jeans: American Eagle, Shoes: Next (purchased in Scotland), Handbag: Fossil, cute alternative here (you can have it monogrammed!), Earrings: Niki Designs, Watch: Michael Kors
When you are feeling preppy, you can’t go wrong with a tweed jacket, a turtleneck, and lace-up heels! I chose to wear dark skinny jeans for more of a casual look, but to make this outfit more work appropriate, style these pieces with dress pants or a pencil skirt. However, be sure to keep your jeans handy so that you are able to make a quick change before meeting your girlfriends for dinner!
Bow Blouse: LC Lauren Conrad for Kohl’s, Pants: Dynamite, Shoes: JoeyO, almost identical pumps available at Nine West (on sale!), Clutch: Old Navy (old), cute alternative here, also love this lips clutch, Bracelet: T.J.Maxx
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Here’s a peek at my Thanksgiving outfit this year. You can’t go wrong with a black, white, and red color palette, and tons of bows! I thought that this LC Lauren Conrad pleated bow blouse was adorable for the holidays, and I just love the peter pan collar!
I have so much to be thankful for this year. I have a loving husband, a wonderful family, and great friends. I don’t know where I would be without each and every one of them. I was lucky enough to spend Canadian Thanksgiving in October with my husband’s side of the family this year, and we had a wonderful time! Wish he could be here today to celebrate American Thanksgiving with my side of the family, but thankfully Christmas is just around the corner!
Blazer: Cynthia Rowley via T.J.Maxx, similar style, Shirt: Old Navy, Pants: T.J.Maxx, Shoes: Guess, similar style here, Handbag & Watch: Michael Kors, larger tote available at Macy’s, Necklace: H&M, Earrings: T.J.Maxx
I’ve always been drawn to black and white, which is probably why the majority of my wedding was black and white with pops of color. I love how classic the combination looks. So when black and white popped up all over the runways for Fall/Winter 2013-2014, I was thrilled! Now, let’s talk about these splatter pants. I was instantly drawn to these at T.J.Maxx, and they are one of my favorite finds! They can be dressed up or down, and are super comfortable! Who wouldn’t want to wear pants that feel like pajamas all day? So, the next time you are shopping and going for an animal print, try something splattered instead. I guarantee you won’t regret it!
P.S. If you are having a hard time finding splattered pieces, grab some paint and DIY it!
We have had some beautiful Fall weather here in Tennessee lately, and I’ve definitely been taking advantage. Give me a flirty skirt and a pair of suede booties any day. I recently went to Toronto to visit my husband and picked up this adorable scarf at Le Chateau. Audrey Hepburn has always been a style icon of mine, so it was only appropriate to add this to my wardrobe!
Well it is finally sweater season here in Tennessee, and I couldn’t be happier! This black and white striped sweater from Target is super cozy, perfect for the fall weather we are having, and my 3.1 Phillip Lim for Target handbag adds just enough color. I’ve never owned a yellow handbag before, but I’m in love with this one! How do you add a pop of color to your outfit?
