Showing off my military style today with this gorgeous Steve Madden jacket. Just add a beautiful beaded necklace, black pants, and nude pumps, and you are ready for brunch with the ladies or, in my case, a day of shopping at the outlets.

This adorable jersey bow dress from H&M can easily be dressed up or down. I chose to go with a more casual vibe for today’s look. The leather jacket and scarf give the dress a little edge, and adding teal to the color palette gives the look an unexpected flare. Stay tuned for a more feminine take on this gorgeous dress in a future post!
I tried out an olive, navy, and black color palette last week, and loved how well the colors complimented each other. This look was effortless, but the heels kicked it up a notch. I felt put together without being overdone for running a few errands around town.

Happy New Year!! Today, I wanted to show my glam New Year’s look that was under $100. I fell in love with this textured dress that I scored for $15 at Ross! You can’t go wrong with a little nude dress, and I’m just loving the peplum. Like I’ve said before, I always seem to gravitate towards black, so it’s nice to try a nude dress for a change. This gorgeous necklace was a gift from my mother and instantly reminded me of J.Crew jewels! The next time you are searching for an affordable glam look, be sure to check out your local T.J.Maxx and Ross. Both stores always have such great finds!

Mixing prints and patterns can be pretty tricky sometimes. I don’t mix prints as much as I would like, but I’m working on getting out of my comfort zone and challenging myself. Normally, I would choose a neutral clutch for this type of look, but I decided to mix it up and add this oversized optic weave clutch instead. It’s hard to tell in these pictures, but this clutch has a cobalt zipper that adds a playful touch to the outfit. If mixing prints isn’t something that you’re into, then try simply adding a bold patterned clutch. It may turn out better than you expect!
Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Here’s a peek at my Thanksgiving outfit this year. You can’t go wrong with a black, white, and red color palette, and tons of bows! I thought that this LC Lauren Conrad pleated bow blouse was adorable for the holidays, and I just love the peter pan collar!
I have so much to be thankful for this year. I have a loving husband, a wonderful family, and great friends. I don’t know where I would be without each and every one of them. I was lucky enough to spend Canadian Thanksgiving in October with my husband’s side of the family this year, and we had a wonderful time! Wish he could be here today to celebrate American Thanksgiving with my side of the family, but thankfully Christmas is just around the corner!
Sometimes you just want to mix it up and wear a printed piece to work. Cheetah is a neutral in my opinion and is so easy to incorporate into your work attire. It allows you to stand out, while still being appropriate for business. Whether it’s with a cheetah jacket, pencil skirt, pumps, or a clutch, you will be sure to turn heads at the office!
