A classic white button-down is definitely a staple in my wardrobe. It looks chic styled with jeans and keds for a casual weekend look, or paired with a pencil skirt and heels for the office. You can’t go wrong with such a versatile piece of clothing. I’ve listed a few of my favorite options above.
How adorable are these Keds from the Taylor Swift collection? I absolutely love them, and I know that I’ll be wearing them multiple times this Spring/Summer. Keds are quickly becoming my favorite sneaker, they are comfortable, classic, and cute – triple threat.

Just when I thought I could finally pack up my winter coats and pull out my spring jackets, Mother Nature turned on me . . . again. Although, I really can’t complain considering my Canadian family and friends have been slammed with a horrendous never-ending winter this year. I feel for you guys 😉
The weather yesterday did, however, give me an excuse to wear these gorgeous colorblock boots from Ross. The crystal collar and boots give this business look the perfect amount of dazzle for the work week. It adds style without being over-the-top for the office. You may want to add tights depending on your weather. I probably should have, considering it started to snow just as I finished taking photos (as you can probably tell in my last pic). Hopefully, that photo will be my very last with snow for a while!

I’m all about neutrals, but I can’t resist a colorful blouse that you can style multiple ways. I chose to pair this blouse with a navy skirt, rather than black, for something a little different. Adding multiple colored accessories brings out the various colors in the blouse without being over-the-top or detracting from the look. Sometimes you just need a little color to brighten up your day 😉
Looking polished in the winter months can often pose a challenge, especially on those days when all you want is to stay in your pajamas with a cup of hot tea. I don’t know about you, but I go from hot to cold multiple times while at work and having layers that I can easily remove at my desk is crucial. Layering the turtleneck sweater, faux fur vest, and winter coat was perfect for the outdoor weather, yet simple enough to remove once inside (although it was so cold, I left the sweater and vest on all day)!
P.S. Loved getting to showcase my Tennessee spirit with this gorgeous pumpkin coat 😉

Yesterday, I braved the crowds with my husband and family for some last minute Christmas shopping to complete everything on my gift list. It wasn’t as bad as I expected, considering it was the last weekend before the holidays. This outfit was perfect for the occasion. The faux fur vest kept me warm enough for the weather outside, but wasn’t too heavy inside. It was so great not to have to lug a coat around all day!
I’m so excited for a week filled with family, friends, food, and fun! I can’t wait to share all of our family traditions with my husband in the next few days. Can you believe that we’ve been together for almost 5 years and have never spent Christmas together?! Needless to say, this year is extra special. 😉

I’ve mentioned before that I am a huge fan of oversized comfy sweaters. I received this midi-length cardigan as a Christmas gift a few years ago and was instantly hooked! You can’t go wrong with a super soft, cozy sweater that doubles as a coat. I still can’t believe that it’s the only midi cardigan I own. I just never seem to see many sweaters this length, however this Free People cardigan at Nordstrom has definitely caught my eye!
When I saw this sequined lips sweatshirt at Forever 21, it immediately reminded of this Markus Lupfer sweatshirt and I just couldn’t leave the store without it! I’ve already thought of a few different ways to style this beauty so stay tuned…
