The weather was beautiful last weekend, so naturally my husband and I decided to go for a stroll around the neighborhood. I quickly grabbed a tank top, cardigan, and hat, and was ready to go! Such an easy look to pull together, giving off a nautical vibe that’s perfect for the coming months. The panama hat really tops off this casual look – the bow detail is just an added bonus 😉
Starting off the week with a casual cool look that is both stylish and practical. The weather has been all over the place lately, but this outfit felt perfect during the day and once it cooled down, the cardigan added just the right amount of warmth.
The Fossil bag shown in this look has been one of my favorites for years, but I have to say I am loving their new Sydney Satchel, it’s gorgeous! I find that Fossil has such great quality leather handbags without over-the-top prices. Can’t wait to see the upcoming collections!

I’m all about neutrals, but I can’t resist a colorful blouse that you can style multiple ways. I chose to pair this blouse with a navy skirt, rather than black, for something a little different. Adding multiple colored accessories brings out the various colors in the blouse without being over-the-top or detracting from the look. Sometimes you just need a little color to brighten up your day 😉
One of the easiest ways to brighten up a neutral outfit in the winter months is by adding a colorful coat. It instantly adds a playful touch to your look. while making a casual outfit more interesting. When I don’t have much time to plan an outfit, but still want to feel “put together”, I always grab a bright coat or sweater. How do you brighten up your winter wardrobe?
I tried out an olive, navy, and black color palette last week, and loved how well the colors complimented each other. This look was effortless, but the heels kicked it up a notch. I felt put together without being overdone for running a few errands around town.
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend. I’m featuring a relaxed look that I sported this weekend on this dreary Monday morning. The majority of items from this look were Christmas gifts, and I think it’s safe to say that my family knows my style very well! An oversized wool blazer, boyfriend jeans, a warm scarf, and comfy flats are the perfect pieces for a casual chic outfit. How adorable are these social media loafers?! They add a playful flare to the look, and are super comfy! You will definitely be seeing each of these items on the blog multiple times this season.
Happy Anniversary to my sweet husband! Can’t believe we started dating 5 years ago today and have been married a little over six months now 🙂
I came to Toronto for the week to surprise my husband’s family before the holidays. I don’t think Toronto has had this much snow in a while, but it’s absolutely beautiful! It’s essential to have a warm coat in this city because you never know what the weather might do. I was so excited when my mother-in-law gifted her gorgeous coat to me a few days ago. It’s extremely warm and fits perfectly. I love vintage treasures and can’t wait to pass it down in the future!
I absolutely adore a scalloped hem. It’s just so flirty and feminine! I also love the look of a dropped waist skirt, however, I never liked how it looked on my body type. I decided to try styling one with a long sweater, and I love how it turned out! It completely changes the silhouette, not to mention the scalloped hem really stands out against the skirt. So before you rule out a dropped waist skirt or dress try styling a sweater over it to see how it changes the look!

When you are feeling preppy, you can’t go wrong with a tweed jacket, a turtleneck, and lace-up heels! I chose to wear dark skinny jeans for more of a casual look, but to make this outfit more work appropriate, style these pieces with dress pants or a pencil skirt. However, be sure to keep your jeans handy so that you are able to make a quick change before meeting your girlfriends for dinner!

I’m always looking for ways to incorporate florals in the winter months. It’s much easier to do with black, grey, and white floral pieces. I purchased these pants from American Eagle Outfitters last year, and love styling them with vibrant sweaters. This slouchy purple sweater is one of my favorites from H&M. It’s a gorgeous color and so cozy! This one from Nasty Gal is nearly identical, and on sale now!
