I apologize for the lack of posts in May, it was a very hectic month, but I’m happy to say that I’m back in full force!
Summer style is all about flowy maxis, comfy sandals, and straw hats. It doesn’t hurt that these pieces are extremely easy to throw in your bag for those spontaneous weekend trips either! I had a few errands to run this past weekend, so I chose this black and white combo and it was perfect. If your tank is a little too long like mine, just tie a knot on the side for a stylish twist! Be sure to check out the links above to get this look 😉

All I seem to gravitate towards lately are printed pants. They can be dressed up throughout the work week with a blouse and heels, but are trendy enough to wear with sneakers and a jean jacket on the weekend. H&M and T.J.Maxx have the cutest pairs this season at affordable prices – these H&M pants were only $14.95! Check out a few of my favorites this season linked above.
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so today I am sharing a look that is suitable no matter what your plans may be. Whether it’s a date with your valentine, a first date, a girls’ night, or plans with your family, this outfit fits the bill. I chose to style a classic look with a striking red coat, black and gold accessories, and a leopard hat that adds a little vintage touch.
My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s Day a few days early, since he won’t be in town on Friday, and I just couldn’t get over the adorable Kate Spade “Charming Key Bangle” that he picked out all on his own while on a business trip in NYC. I’m in love with it! He definitely holds the key to my heart 😉

Definitely channeling my inner Rachel Zoe with this look, and I’m loving it! Every girl deserves to be a diva every once in a while, right? Just add some faux fur, a black hat, and oversized shades to your wardrobe, and you’ve hit the jackpot. The best part about this look is that it has a high-end feel without the costly price tag. Several of these items came from T.J.Maxx, so the next time you are searching for a diva-esque look don’t forget to check them out!
Cardigan: Topshop, similar style here, Shirt: Banana Republic, similar here and here, Jeans: Garage, Boots: T.J.Maxx, Handbag: ALDO, cute alternatives – save, splurge, save, Earrings: Niki Designs, Watch: Michael Kors, Scarf: Marshalls
This hooded cardigan from Topshop is one of the coziest sweaters I own. I love to travel in it because it’s warm enough to wear as a coat, but much lighter. It’s so easy to toss in your bag if the weather suddenly changes. The past few outfits I’ve styled have had a pop of color, and I just couldn’t resist styling a bright red handbag with this neutral look.

I don’t know about you, but when I get a call for a job interview the first thing that comes to mind is “Yes! I have an interview, hope I get the job!”, immediately followed by “OMG, what am I going to wear?!”. Dressing for an interview is risky business. You want to look professional, yet stand out. It is important to leave a lasting impression on the interviewer, and if you choose to wear something a little different than most, they will be sure to remember you. I chose a green blazer, rather than traditional black, to stand out from the rest. It’s up to you to bring your ‘A’ game during the interview, but if you take a few fashion risks, you’re already ahead of the game!
