When you are feeling preppy, you can’t go wrong with a tweed jacket, a turtleneck, and lace-up heels! I chose to wear dark skinny jeans for more of a casual look, but to make this outfit more work appropriate, style these pieces with dress pants or a pencil skirt. However, be sure to keep your jeans handy so that you are able to make a quick change before meeting your girlfriends for dinner!
I am SO in love with those shoes… Dang girl, you have the best shoes!
Thanks Kimiko! It is a SERIOUS problem I have! I snagged these in Scotland a few years ago. I’ve accumulated quite a few over the years..and I NEVER toss them (unless they are literally dead). It probably seems like I’m buying new shoes every week, but that’s not {usually} the case! 😉
I would never think that! I have a a fairly extensive collection, but I keep having to get rid of shoes due to space (no storage in our condo!) and I am REALLY hard on shoes.
umm you are totally giving me Blair Waldorf right now! Right down to the headband and I love it! so cute

I scrolled down with anticipation to see where you got those divine shoes. Scotland! They’re just fantastic. I love all the mixed textures and camel accents in this post.
Thanks Kat!
