When I was planning my wedding, I spent countless hours browsing wedding photography. Bridal shots and couple shots were always my favorite. There is just something about wedding photos that I always find so inspiring, and to this day I still enjoy looking through wedding magazines and wedding blogs. When I worked as a bridal stylist, I absolutely loved witnessing the bride’s reaction when she found “the” dress. It was a joy to be able to contribute to such an important day in a person’s life. I have a feeling that my time working in the wedding industry is not quite finished yet 😉
Now that I’ve had my special day, I thought I would share some bridal glamour shots for all of those brides-to-be out there!
Starting off the week with a laid-back look that makes a statement. I love that these leggings aren’t your traditional leopard print. The black and gold leopard give this effortless look a little extra edge. However, if you are looking for a more feminine way to style these, try pairing them with a skirt and heels for a flirty and fun look!

I’m all about neutrals, but I can’t resist a colorful blouse that you can style multiple ways. I chose to pair this blouse with a navy skirt, rather than black, for something a little different. Adding multiple colored accessories brings out the various colors in the blouse without being over-the-top or detracting from the look. Sometimes you just need a little color to brighten up your day 😉

Once again, I’m wearing a black and gray combo. I can’t seem to get enough of these shades, but adding the fuchsia bag gives the look a focal point. On a side note, I’m loving the look of these midi boots with patterned tights, and it doesn’t hurt that they are extremely comfortable. I’ve been wearing them to work all week, and they were definitely worth the money!
Coat: Jessica Simpson, Blouse: Dynamite (similar), Scarf (faux fur): Mossimo Supply Co. via Target, similar styles here and here, Jeans: Guess by Marciano, Boots: Steve Madden, Handbag: Lauren by Ralph Lauren, Watch: Michael Kors, similar here and here, Earrings: Fossil, similar style here, Bracelet: Kate Spade NY
Feeling (fur)ocious in my faux fur scarf, sheer blouse, and jewel toned accessories for today’s look. This is such a great outfit for the weekend, and the faux fur scarf is so warm and cozy! The jewel toned handbag and boots add a rich pop of color without being over the top, and compliment the tortoise jewelry perfectly. If you are not a fan of adding multiple colors to your look, start with adding one bold hue and go from there!
In honor of Valentine’s Day today, I thought I would share some of the beautiful blush items that I’ve seen on the internet lately. I don’t have enough of this color in my wardrobe, but I have been seeing it everywhere. I might just have to pick up an item or two in this gorgeous color!
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, so today I am sharing a look that is suitable no matter what your plans may be. Whether it’s a date with your valentine, a first date, a girls’ night, or plans with your family, this outfit fits the bill. I chose to style a classic look with a striking red coat, black and gold accessories, and a leopard hat that adds a little vintage touch.
My husband and I celebrated Valentine’s Day a few days early, since he won’t be in town on Friday, and I just couldn’t get over the adorable Kate Spade “Charming Key Bangle” that he picked out all on his own while on a business trip in NYC. I’m in love with it! He definitely holds the key to my heart 😉
Coat: Jessica Simpson via T.J.Maxx, cute alternatives here and here, Dress: Forever 21 (old), Tights: T.J.Maxx, Boots: Gianni Bini via Dillard’s, Earrings: Niki Designs, Sunglasses: Franco Sarto via T.J.Maxx
I apologize for the silence the past couple of days, there just aren’t enough hours in the day sometimes! Decided to pull out this oldie, but goodie last week for work, and I’m so glad I did. I purchased this dress a few years ago from Forever 21, and I forgot how much I love it. Watercolor and ruffles never get old! This dress is classy enough for a special event, but also appropriate for a Monday meeting. I always keep my eye out in Forever 21 for similar styles that I can use for work and play.
Blazer: Cynthia Rowley via T.J.Maxx, similar at Macy’s, Shirt: T.J.Maxx, Jeans: Express, similar here, Boots: Dolce Vita via T.J.Maxx, similar style here, Necklace: T.J.Maxx, similar styles here, Earrings: T.J.Maxx, similar at J.Crew, Bag: Urban Outfitters, Sunglasses: Franco Sarto via T.J.Maxx
It’s hard to believe that I was wearing a beanie, winter coat, and gloves just two days before this outfit. It felt so great to be able to walk out of the house with a lightweight shirt and blazer, although sometimes that can be a little too basic. Pairing the outfit with a statement necklace and earrings is the perfect way to add a little glam to your look. I still can’t get over how much this necklace and earrings look like J.Crew pieces! My mom managed to snag both of these gorgeous accessories from T.J.Maxx, and I couldn’t be happier. I’ve been dying for a pair of jeweled studs, and was thrilled when she gave me these as an early birthday present. You can never have enough sparkle! 😉
