It’s hard to believe that it’s New Year’s Eve already! This year has been one of the best years of my life, and I can’t wait to see what 2014 has in store for us. I received this lips sweater from my in-laws for Christmas, and couldn’t wait to style it! Pairing it with all black really allows the red to pop. I’ll definitely be styling this sweater multiple ways in my posts to come.
I hope everyone has a safe and Happy New Year!
P.S. I’ll be posting my New Year’s dress on the blog tomorrow, so stay tuned 😉

I hope everyone had a fabulous holiday with their family and friends. I took the last few days off from blogging to spend quality time with my family. We play a ton of board/card games around the holidays, and this year we received Cards Against Humanity for Christmas. It is hilarious!
I managed to get a few shots of my outfit that I wore to Mass on Christmas Eve. I absolutely love this dress from Banana Republic that I purchased last year. It’s perfect for holiday parties, but looks great with a blazer for work. The jacquard shift dress from the L’Wren Scott Collection at Banana Republic is very similar. I’m loving it in Emerald!

My parents told the family to get ready for dinner in Market Square last night, little did we know they had tickets for The Moscow Ballet’s production of The Nutcracker. The Nutcracker is one of my favorite ballets, so I was thrilled when we ended up at the Tennessee Theatre. Luckily, I was wearing a dress and heels! The ballet was wonderful and brought me right back to my dancing days. I sure do miss it, but I’ll always be a dancer at heart.

Yesterday, I braved the crowds with my husband and family for some last minute Christmas shopping to complete everything on my gift list. It wasn’t as bad as I expected, considering it was the last weekend before the holidays. This outfit was perfect for the occasion. The faux fur vest kept me warm enough for the weather outside, but wasn’t too heavy inside. It was so great not to have to lug a coat around all day!
I’m so excited for a week filled with family, friends, food, and fun! I can’t wait to share all of our family traditions with my husband in the next few days. Can you believe that we’ve been together for almost 5 years and have never spent Christmas together?! Needless to say, this year is extra special. 😉

It’s hard to believe that our wedding day was almost six months ago! It was the best day of our lives, and we love reliving every single moment over and over again through the beautiful photography. We received our photos from our amazing photographer, Melanie Rebane, a few weeks ago and couldn’t wait to share them with our family and friends. I’m going to split our wedding details into a few different posts, but I wanted to start by sharing a few of our favorite bride/groom shots. Hope you enjoy!
I came to Toronto for the week to surprise my husband’s family before the holidays. I don’t think Toronto has had this much snow in a while, but it’s absolutely beautiful! It’s essential to have a warm coat in this city because you never know what the weather might do. I was so excited when my mother-in-law gifted her gorgeous coat to me a few days ago. It’s extremely warm and fits perfectly. I love vintage treasures and can’t wait to pass it down in the future!

This hooded cardigan from Topshop is one of the coziest sweaters I own. I love to travel in it because it’s warm enough to wear as a coat, but much lighter. It’s so easy to toss in your bag if the weather suddenly changes. The past few outfits I’ve styled have had a pop of color, and I just couldn’t resist styling a bright red handbag with this neutral look.

A few days ago, my family and I went to our friends’ gorgeous farmhouse in Greeneville known as Blackberry Ridge Farm. I didn’t have much time to get ready, so I went with my go-to outfit in the winter (a chunky sweater, jeans, and boots). The pink hat really topped it off. It gave the look that pop of color and flare that it needed!
It was my first time visiting, and I fell completely in love with every last detail of their home. Beautiful architecture, amazing interior design, and fabulous styling. It was so inspirational! I hope to have a home that inspiring one day.

Can you tell that I’m absolutely freezing in these pictures? Last week we had fairly warm weather here, so I didn’t bother to look at the temperatures before stepping out the door this weekend, which was a huge mistake. We went shopping in Market Square, and everyone was bundled up in their winter coats, gloves, and boots except for me. My feet were numb by the time I walked back to the car, but the French Macarons that I picked up for dessert made it all worth it!
